We're all falling in love with Delpozo. This kind of love our parents would never disapprove. |
Twitter reactions (based on the #Delpozo hashtag) to the brand explains it all.
"Fell in real love."
"Dresses for those who love to dream."
"Oh, God. Sorry Marni, I have found a new love."
"The sound of Spring, elegantly made."

If people are directly correlating the status of a relationship to a brand, then creative director Josep Font is doing something so, so right. Love is a strong word but there is no word more fitting for the label, especially when describing it's Pre-Fall 2016 collection. This brand just gets me. It gets us. And by us, I mean girls and guys that are so immersed in the art of fashion that they (we) are willing to wear sleeveless fringe peplum pullovers to the supermarket.
You know how I know that Delpozo gets us?
Cropped jackets are embellished in flowers.
The coats are long. The coats are also wrapped in wool.
We all love a neck scarf. This knitted shirt has one attached to it.
Three words. Fringe. Alpaca. Pullover.
Wide leg is in for good. Enhance the trend with a nylon tulle pair.
Pair floral collared cotton blouses with cropped trousers or layer gathered vests over turtlenecks. The possibilities are endless. Put dresses over pants! Add some extra height with platforms that aren't Stella Mccartney. (We don't all want to dress identically, no matter how cute) Cold? Cuddle up in a jacquard wrap jacket. And while i'm just recently testing my color waters, he went for the whole enchilada in the form of beautifully modernistic-overly-dramatic-and-overly feminine-but-wearable, art inspired pieces that would cause anyone to feel a bit weak in the knees.
Are you swooning?
Because i'm swooning.
Because i'm swooning.
